California BBS licenses renew every two years and require 36 hours of continuing education per cycle.
California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Washington (DOH)
Washington DOH licenses renew annually on your birthday. Full licenses (LICSW, LASW) need 32 hours every 2 years; associates (LSWAIC, LSWAA) need 16 hours every year.
